Community & Events Fundraising Manager

The Community and Events Fundraising Manager will be responsible for the development and ongoing management of an events and community fundraising
programme. Team Rubicon has a strong existing network with over 300 volunteer members and this role will develop a framework to build on this. This is a fantastic opportunity to
work in a dynamic environment and be a key part in the strategic development of this rapidly growing charity. As part of a small team the successful candidate will need to undertake all aspects of events and community fundraising identifying and managing a range of annual and one-off events and developing a community fundraising programme. They will get full support of the executive team in developing and delivering events and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Devise and oversee an events and community fundraising programme in line with organisational objectives
  • Manage existing community relationships and support the executive team in developing more regional opportunities
  • Research and develop new opportunities to establish a five-year fundraising pipeline
  • Continue to develop case studies and messaging to support Team Rubicon’s fundraising within the UK
  • Identify creative fundraising activities across UK-wide community fundraising channels
  • Research and assess appropriate regional and national mass-participation fundraising events and recruit and support participants
  • Run in-house fundraising and social events
