On 25th April 2015, an earthquake measuring 7.8 hit the Kathmandu area in Nepal. Although not fully formed yet, Team Rubicon UK sent a team of volunteers (including a large proportion of Ghurkas) to Kathmandu to assist Team Rubicon USA with delivering humanitarian aid to the remote villages most affected.

05-14-2015 – Ten volunteers are billeted at the Sermathang Base Camp where 100 tarps and tents where delivered and debris removal of the boarding school and community center continued. Following the 7.3 magnitude earthquake on Tuesday, 19 patients were treated and damage assessments were conducted in the villages of Bulgaun and Burawa.
